We’re gearing up for the 2027 General Assembly session, and advocacy for the FY28 state budget! This is an important time to let our next Governor know what babies, young children, and their families need in the next state budget.
This year, our priorities are focused on making child care more affordable and accessible, stabilizing Head Start and RI Pre-K, investing in early childhood educators, strengthening family home visiting and pediatric primary care, and improving paid family leave. Together, these investments will help families access the care and support they need while ensuring that the people and programs serving our young children have the resources to do their work.
Please email rflum.consultant@rikidscount.org by November 20th to sign your organization on in support of these priorities!
